Global Product Manager  (m/w/d) ? 80 - 100%

Your tasks

As the Global Product Manager Racks, Accessories and Trading Goods, you will be responsible for managing all activities of the product lifecycle - within the company as well as with external partners, customers and key opinion leaders. Your tasks will include:
 

  • Manages and streamlines the product portfolio and all activities along of the product lifecycle management internally and with partners.
  • Participates and/or conducts projects to further develop the products in close relation with all product stakeholders.
  • Creates, develops, implements and controls global product strategies in close collaboration with the markets and head of global Product Management and Business Unit Management.
  • Is a key member of and act actively within the Product Management Team Medical. Takes owner ship and has a strong voice in the Business Unit Medical to assure and implement the product strategies. Stays in close contact with the markets, Global Marketing and BU Management.
  • Stays in close contact with all local Product Managers and exchange regularly expertise on market trends, product strategy and development, technology innovations and improvements, customers- and competition activities and analysis.
  • Maintain and further develops market surveys and other tools in order to gather and manage the voice of customer
  • Performs regularly market analyses and competitor matrix overview to identify opportunities and to accelerate performance and market share as well as the differentiation of the products
  • Initiates, mandates, manages and controls all global product relevant documents such as brochures, flyers (digital and printout)
  • Actively analysis all product related financial reports and data, asses them and continuously improve the processes and the information in collaboration with finance.
  • Maintains and implement the pricing strategies and take over responsibility for margin targets of his related product portfolio
  • Maintains the product offering in the relevant markets and in alignment with the portfolio and market strategy
  • Understand the markets, its need requirements, trends and opportunities

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in a commercial discipline or related fields required. MBA or related MAS degree in business administration, marketing and/or communication preferred.
  • Further education in Engineering or similar (mechanical, electrical, etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Further education in product management, project management, management, is a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management
  • Preferable, but not a must: At least 3 years of experience in medical device
  • Comprehensive commercial Know-How and experience with strong marketing communication skills (Market Launches, USP-definitions, Presentations, e.g.)
  • Strong ownership and leadership skills
  • Ability to understand complex technical processes and transform them in to simple messages
  • Strong ability to identify customer and market needs and transform them into technical requirements
  • Business fluent in German and English
